Harriet Lerner, Ph.D. writes about the human emotions and experiences we can all relate to - in language that is easy to read, humorous and real, sometimes painfully so. Reading her work offers frequent opportunities for recognizing oneself! Brene Brown, Ph.D, honest, funny, and so real, writes about the things no-one wants to talk about - vulnerability, shame, envy and perfectionism. Her TED talk on vulnerability is a great introduction to her body of research and work. This writing really resonates with what it is to be human.
